Choosing a Therapist.

Choosing a therapist is an important step.  Research shows that the quality of the relationship is essential to the work feeling successful. Some studies state that it is the most important factor. it is worth meeting with a couple of people before making a decision. 

The Initial Session.  

This gives us the chance to see each other, for you to talk about what brings you to therapy and also to get an idea of how I work. If this meeting is satisfactory to both of us we can agree to continue. We may also agree to review after a few sessions to check that the work is being useful. The fee for this session is low to let you check out if I am the right therapist for you. There is no obligation to make a further appointment.
